Internships

Not just another internship

Every year we offer several internships to students attending a university or school of applied sciences. At Swiss Re an internship can be much more than on-the-job training – it can be the start of your career at our company!

Meet our interns

You'll take on concrete tasks and various projects straightaway, supported by your team. Networking, social and business events will allow you to fully experience Swiss Re's company culture. You'll join our New Entrants Days and you'll get relevant training allowing you to develop new skills.

Internship positions are available in the following locations:

* Switzerland/Germany for students in their 3rd year (6th semester) onwards

* United Kingdomfor students in their penultimate and final year

* United States for students in their 1st year of a graduate degree programme or in their junior year of an undergraduate programme

* Bangalore for students in their final year/semester graduate degree programme or 1st year (2nd semester) masters degree. Internship duration last between 2-3 months

Internship positions in Germany and Switzerland last between 3-6 months. Traditional summer internships in the United States and the United Kingdom typically last between 10-12 weeks.

We look for students from all disciplines. If you have a strong academic track record, the ability to deliver outstanding solutions and you relate well to people from different backgrounds and cultures, you're the one we want.
