About the Role

Are you a master's student (either studying or have completed your studies) and passionate about gaining experience in a global, multi-cultural environment in project management?

This is how you can get started:

  • Support our team with their projects, actively contribute to project management tasks and activities e.g. create and update key documents, monitor and control scope, schedule and resources
  • Build and manage relations with key stakeholders of the Partner divisions (client) and within CEDD, incl. schedule and prepare meetings, assess and build communication, conduct training needs analysis
  • Coordinate change management activities and governance associated with the projects, like communication planning, training, measurement and adoption
  • Track overall progress against project objectives and regularly report out on progress
  • Act as a central collection and dissemination point for program/change management related information
  • Be a role model and ambassador for the application of Swiss Re internal standards and project management best practices

 

About the Team

Customer Experience and Digital Delivery (CEDD) is mandated to shape and improve customer experience and drive the digital transformation within Group Operations, beyond traditional silos and across divisions, services and touchpoints. In addition, the unit delivers managed customer care services on behalf of Group Operations divisions through multiple channels and acts as a single point of contact for customers through the ContactOne portal and a central service desk for all Group Operations services.

While most of your peers and many of your key stakeholders are based in Zurich (Switzerland), the team is composed of an international workforce based in different locations and serving a global customer basis.

You will be part of the Customer Experience & Analytics team. It is a young and dynamic team, which is on the exciting journey of building up and acting as the centre of expertise to design and manage positive customer experiences across Group Operations. Based on feedback and other data points, we generate customer insights to help our Partners identify customer needs and reflect these by appropriate solution design and improvement measures that improve our internal clients' satisfaction. The team plays also an active role in building and shaping customer communities and ensures smooth customer communications via various channels (push and pull). The team extensively collaborates with other units within CEDD (e.g. Self-Service Solutions, Design & Delivery or Operations) and directly interacts with representatives/SMEs from our partners as well as with internal customers.

 

About You

  • Masters student of Business/Management disciplines, Technology, Social Sciences, or Communications
  • Strong interest (and preferably previous experience) in Project Management and/or Change Management
  • Able to navigate ambiguity, flexible and pragmatic
  • "Can do attitude": strong sense of ownership paired with high levels of intrinsic motivation and energy
  • Creative thinker and natural or logical problem solver
  • Autonomous and critical thinker, self-organised and structured
  • Good analytical skills, including attention to detail without losing track of the big picture
  • Good at dealing with people
  • Excellent team player, good at receiving and giving constructive feedback in a timely manner
  • Very good MS Office skills, Excel and especially PowerPoint
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills, German is plus
