Audit Manager, Property & Casualty Re/Insurance
About the Role
As an Audit Manager with focus on Reinsurance and Insurance in Group Internal Audit (GIA), you will have the opportunity to leverage your experience and knowledge across the end-to-end value chain while participating in a variety of audit activities. You will engage with senior stakeholders and function heads on a regular basis across multiple business units.
This role is an opportunity to deal with themes that have organizational impact and drive the risk culture of Swiss Re.
Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Product Owner for re/Insurance audits, to meet with relevant stakeholders, update risk assessments and help shape the bi-annual audit plan.
- Participate in a variety of audits, with a focus on re/Insurance audits from beginning to end, owning your audit tasks within the agile audit team, and positively impacting the audit delivery so audits are delivered on time and within the budgeted days.
- Leverage your expertise to contribute to the audit plan, help increase re/insurance expertise in the audit teams and support audit observations and insights.
- Challenge the audit teams to excel by acting as a role model.

GIA provides independent and objective assurance that assists the Board of Directors and Group Executive Committee to protect the assets, reputation, and sustainability of the organization. GIA's vision is to advance Swiss Re's resilience through assurance that is responsive to risk and providing the business with innovative insights to help strengthen the control environment and achieve its objectives.
About You

Additional requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in external and/or internal audit or other relevant roles in the financial services industry
- Sound knowledge of property and casualty business including treaty and facultative; as well specialty lines
- Degree in accountancy, actuarial, business or other finance related fields
- Deep understanding and knowledge of the (re)insurance industry
- Strong understanding of risk, governance and control as well as internal audit methodologies, audit project management, continual risk assessment frameworks
- Experience in managing stakeholders and audit teams in a global, matrix driven organization
- CPA, CA, CIA, or other relevant professional certification a plus
The estimated base salary range for this position is 113,000 to $200,000. The specific salary offered for this or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.
