About the Team

In this role, the candidate will support DEI activities in the Americas.  They will work closely with Human Resources including the recruiting team to embed diversity into our people practices.  They will support or lead programming that caters to attracting and developing diverse talent.  They will be closely aligned with the Regional DEI Consultant for the Americas to build and execute programming that supports the Americas strategy.


About the Role

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist Regional DEI Consultant with diversity initiatives across the Americas such as Fellowship Program, Corporate Apprentice Program, PoC Sponsorship Program, and new programs with other insurance partners.
  • Support Swiss Re's participation in external studies and benchmarking to gain an external perspective to inform the Americas strategy
  • Research, onboard, and help cultivate external partnerships that help to build our diverse talent pipelines
  • Research and identify DEI certification opportunities for Swiss Re
  • Partner with Recruiting Leads to build and track diverse talent pipelines
  • Reporting on DEI progress leveraging dashboards and reports
  • Help produce DEI presentations for leadership meetings and the BoD
  • Coordinate Swiss Re's participation in career fairs and other talent attraction events
  • Collaborate with Intern & Graduate Advisor to identify and coordinate DEI recruitment events
  • Work with ERGs to identify collaboration opportunities to connect ERGs to the Americas DEI strategy and HR DEI initiatives
  • Support the Americas DEI Council by serving as Treasurer and other capacities


About You


  • Prefer a minimum of 3 years HR experience in DEI, recruiting, or talent management
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent follow-up and time management skills are essential
  • Proficient with social media platforms
  • Comfortable with leveraging internal collaboration and communication tools.  (Yammer, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
  • Proficient powerpoint and excel skills
