About the Role:

  • The person in this role will be responsible globally for driving growth of Swiss Re's P&C business in the  non-Insurance carrier space. This is a large and exciting space that covers Digital Distributors, Affinity organizations, MGA, InsurTech companies, Digital platforms of Brokers and Insurers, and other nontraditional insurance channels.
  • The person will lead the thinking on new business models and drive joint business development between Swiss Re and its partners in this space
  • The role will be back by a large network of colleagues across Swiss Re's Client Markets, Underwriting, Solutions and Technology teams  
  • The person in the role will engage with emerging and established InsurTech players that could provide key capabilities that are required for Swiss Re and its Re Clients

 About the Team:

This role reports to the Global Head P&C Solutions.  This role will be supported by dedicated Strategic Partnership and P&C Solutions teams around the world.

About You:

  • Deep experience in global P&C markets with an established network with large international brokers, alternate distributors and other affinity players
  • Broad knowledge base across different P&C lines of business
  • Detailed understanding of Insurance technology, including contemporary technologies like Cloud, Big Data and ML
  • Demonstrated thought leadership in new Insurance product constructs and innovation trends
  • Demonstrated ability to win complex Insurance deals and drive business development in the affinity space
