To accelerate our growth we are looking for you as our new Geospatial Solutions Manager – Sales & Delivery delighting our clients out of our Armonk / New York office! Other locations may also be agreed upon with the successful candidate.

About the role

In this diverse role you will:

  • You apply the latest geo spatial technologies to deliver innovative insurance solutions to our clients globally.
  • Continuously refine and relentlessly execute our sales strategy in the Americas, leveraging your strong understanding of key markets
  • Actively listen to clients to develop and deliver propositions that fully match with their needs and monetize our competitive advantage
  • Lead world-class solution delivery, ensuring strong cooperation in dedicated deal teams spanning across regional and central Solutions teams, underwriting and client management
  • Engage in co-creation and rapid prototyping of new solutions with clients
  • Build and champion positive connections internally and externally, being a strong ambassador for Swiss Re P&C Solutions
  • Contribute to develop our offering further to strengthen our leading position as preferred solution partner
  • Produce compelling marketing and sales material (Power Point, videos, animations etc.)

Your profile

  • You have at least a master's degree or equivalent in Natural Sciences, Geoinformatics, GIS or Remote Sensing Engineering.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish or other languages is a plus
  • You have at least 5 years of relevant client facing work experience in the Geo industry, or equivalent roles in brokers, insurers or reinsurers
  • You have a profound overview of emergent topics (new players, new data sets, new solutions) in the geospatial space and you know the relevant players
  • You are passionate about putting Swiss Re's clients center stage and serve them with the full range of our offering
  • Navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively to diverse audiences
  • You have a track record of crafting strong presentations and narratives that influence and commit people to change
  • You are a creative collaborative self-starter with strong analytical skills, an ambitious demeanor and proven design-thinking skills
  • You are driven to generate new business for Swiss Re, prioritize well, are organized with very good project management skills
