About The Team

The SRCS's Innovative Risk Solutions ('IRS') Americas team supervises all types of unique risk-transfer products for corporate and public entities.

About The Role

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the IRS Americas team with origination, structuring, and execution of risk-hedging solutions
  • Teaming with Sales to sell and market IRS to brokers and clients
  • Guiding the progress of proposals and managing portfolios
  • Leading interdisciplinary deal teams
  • Collaborating with regional Key Account Managers, Sales Units, Underwriting Teams, and the Specialty department to establish and meet plan objectives
  • Implementing quality underwriting
  • Building and nurturing relationships with key internal parties and external clients, brokers, risk and captive managers
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory, accounting, tax, and legal components to mitigate reputational risk
  • Making sure that SRCS's IRS team is known in the market as a consistent and reliable partner for innovative risk and capital management solutions

About You

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years proven success working in the North America insurance market
  • Working experience in a multi-cultural and cross-functional environment
  • Significant and varied experience in the direct insurance market either in Underwriting, Actuarial, Risk Management or Insurance Marketing complemented by practical experience in structuring and executing non-standard risk transfer solutions

Technical Skills

  • Solid know-how of traditional and non-standard re/insurance products and markets
  • Strong financial acumen with deep capital management / Solvency proficiency
  • Profound analytical capabilities

Leadership Skills

  • Strong entrepreneurial mentality and focus on execution with a keen eye on closing deals
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Outstanding influencing and negotiation skills to drive complex solutions over the finishing line
  • Sound, strategic, and consistent decision-making skills
  • Strong networking capabilities
  • Excellent team player with the ability to work well in a virtual team environment

Language Skills

  • English, additional language(s) preferred

Educational Experience

  • Master's degree in economics, corporate finance or mathematics, or equivalent education


  • Willingness to travel
