P&C Data Assessment Manager - Hybrid

 

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office two to three days per week on average.

About the Role

 

As a P&C Data Assessment Manager within P&C Solutions, you will fine tune, implement and execute our bold P&C data strategy to support Solutions revenue growth.  You will cover external data streams and act as the focal point for researching, evaluating, and aligning complementary third-party partner data solutions to meet the evolving business cases. You will play a pivotal role in helping advance P&C solutions by working globally with and through cross-functional teams within Reinsurance Solutions. You will frequently communicate, align, and impact senior key stakeholders in P&C Solutions for decision making.

 

About the Team

You will be a key member of the P&C Solutions Data Strategy Team, a small team with broad range of knowledge and expertise in areas such as geospatial data and analytics, risk engineering, third party data, product development and contract negotiations. The team provides critical roles helping the organization drive revenue growth of our solutions and in supporting the establishment and implementation of internal data strategies.

 

About You

We are looking for a results-oriented team leader with a clear track record of execution, who can think creatively, collaborate, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, and deliver in ambiguous situations.

 

Essentials:

  • 10 years or more of working experience in insurance industry, with strong understanding of P&C risk evaluation.
  • Experience in evaluating and integrating third-party data solutions within underwriting and rating workflows, or extensive experience in the development and enhancements of products and analytics for underwriting and rating purposes.
  • Experience in creating and monitoring processes that drive operational efficiencies, ensuring quality levels and seeking continuous improvement.
  • Strong experience in the development of data collection methodologies and best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree or above.

 

Nice to Have:

  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in data agreement review and agreement negotiation.

 

 

 

For Armonk, NY, the estimated base salary range for this position is $124,000 to $198,000.  The specific salary offered for this, or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget.  At Swiss Re, we take a "total compensation approach" when making compensation decisions. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.
