Project Management Associate, US & Latin America Carrier Management (Hybrid Work Model)

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a new team driving and leading the strategic direction and priorities of the Global Carrier Management (GCM) department.  This role is an excellent opportunity to learn and gain exposure to Swiss Re's business through cross-functional collaboration!

 

About the Role

 

This role reports into the Head US & Latin America Carrier Management and supports several senior finance leaders, with a main focus on various department projects and activities.  This involves project management including creating presentations, managing projects through execution, managing timelines and reporting on project status.  The role will also include project administration, scheduling meetings, helping set up offsites and travel activities related to various projects.

Key responsibilities of the role also include:

 

  • Support the Head US & Latin America Carrier Management in all management activities of the department.
  • Collaboration to strengthen the connection within the team of approximately 120 people, as well as other teams and functions.
  • Support and drive Carrier Management team groundwork with respect to various finance projects, running simultaneously at times
  • Ensure consistent and correct messaging and materials to teams and committees
  • Help drive and develop agendas for Leadership team forums, Townhalls and Offsites
  • Assisting with the set-up of various team meetings relative to calendars and travel activities

 

 

About the Team

 

The aim of our newly formed team is to ensure accurate, compliant and timely regulatory and statutory reporting of our respective Legal Entities.  This role is bringing significant value to Swiss Re by ensuring the fulfilment of the Legal Entity CFO duties, including the interaction with the local Boards, local regulators, external auditors and internal control functions.

 

 

About You

 

You bring an excellent ability to build trust and relationships quickly in a complex stakeholder environment with a skillful, collaborative approach.  You have a strong drive and sense of ownership to see things through to completion.

 

Additional key requirements include:

 

  • University degree
  • Experience:  2024 Graduate up to 3 years in project management, transformation, strategic and technical operational activity
  • Very strong Microsoft skills are required; Excellent Excel, Power Point a must.
  • Ability to adapt to change at speed!
  • Knowledge of the SwissRe organization as well as additional technical qualifications are a plus

 

 

 

For Armonk, NY the estimated base salary range for this position is $68,000 to $110,000.  The specific salary offered for this or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget.  At Swiss Re, we take a "total compensation approach" when making compensation decisions. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.
