Sales Director North America P&C Solutions

 

About the role

 

The Sales Director North America P&C Solutions reports to the Head Risk Consulting & Analytics and Sales and is a member of the RCA Management Team. This role brings together all Solutions Sales resources and activities covering P&C Solutions as well as Risk Consulting and Analytics Solutions in the Americas Region. They work with cross functional teams for existing reinsurance clients and will largely focus on seeking new revenue streams from non-clients and new clients in adjacent sectors. The ambition is to enable our core Reinsurance Solutions products and further grow fee-based income-stream. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales of consulting and analytics projects as well as P&C Solutions & Products and execute our go to market strategy.
  • Deliver on fee-based income targets as per the annual business plan, including delivery of your individual sales target.
  • Contribute to the development of the global go to market strategy for the Reinsurance Solutions unit and define implementation plan for North America.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct thorough clients' needs analysis to identify new opportunities.
  • Identify and prospect potential clients and leads through various channels.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value proposition.
  • Negotiate and close deals with a focus on meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and the Product teams to develop and execute effective strategies to improve client outreach and generate new business.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain a solid knowledge of the Company’s underlying technology, the range of existing products and consulting services.
  • Provide regular and structured feedback received from clients and prospects to the product and delivery teams about our offerings and value propositions, with recommendations on product improvements with maximum commercial up-side.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular reports and sales forecasts to management.
  • Line management responsibility of a team of 2 to 3 Sales Development Managers, with the potential to grow in the future.

About you

 

  • 15 years relevant Sales experience in either financial, consulting or technology services.
  • Relevant experience and knowledge of the P&C insurance industry across underwriting, claims, risk management and technology landscapes in North America, with a strong network in the industry.
  • Proven ability to consistently deliver sales and revenue targets and demonstrate commercial hunger and sales drive.
  • Strong prospecting and lead generation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated client centric and consultative approach to understanding needs, and translating these into solutions that can be delivered by the various teams.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers at C-suite level.
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated with a drive to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Positive team player with a proven ability to make decisions in conjunction with key internal and external decision makers.

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office two to three days per week on average.  

 

 

 

For Armonk, NY, and New York, NY, the estimated base salary range for this position is $200,000 to $330,000.  The specific salary offered for this, or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget.  At Swiss Re, we take a "total compensation approach" when making compensation decisions. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.
