About the role 

This role reports to the Head CEO Office and will also support the Head of Strategy & Operations and the extended Strategy team in steering and shaping the Americas Reinsurance strategic direction.  The role offers the candidate a good overview of the key strategic topics most relevant to the Americas, with great exposure and direct interaction with senior leaders across multiple business functions in the region.

 

  • Support Head CEO Office, Head of Strategy & Operations, and Strategy team members with projects and activities that deliver on the region's strategic objectives (e.g., Commercial Culture, Improving Client Engagement, Right Service Right Client)
  • Support Strategy team leaders to develop growth strategies for the different Market Heads
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis on critical topics (e.g., market share analysis, renewal updates)
  • Contribute to competitor and market analysis
  • Support delivery of presentations and briefing material for internal management meetings as well as materials for external meetings

This position plays an integral role in connecting the various business functions (Client Markets, Products, Business Management, Finance, Risk Management) in support of the Americas Management Team's priorities across the US, Canada and Latin American markets

 

About the team

The team's mandate is to support the Americas President & CEO and the Americas Management Team in driving, developing and executing key strategic projects that will help the region deliver on its objectives, while ensuring alignment with the Reinsurance Business Unit priorities established by the Reinsurance Management Team.  The team is located throughout the US, Canada and Lat Am.

  • Strong interest in/motivation to learn about insurance/reinsurance

  • Excellent oral and written English skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
