iptiQ Quality Assurance Intern 



About the role:

We are looking for an energetic and technology savvy student to join our life insurance start-up unit. The role will support our quality assurance business team to create and execute test plans and document testing changes and new functionalities made to our life insurance sales platform. We work on short release timelines, as a result you would quickly see the changes you work on rolled out to a live environment. You would be testing through manual entry and leveraging tools and automation.


You will be responsible to:

  • Create test plans;
  • Execute test cases;
  • Use appropriate tools for testing execution;
  • Update automated testing scripts under guidance from team members;
  • Thoroughly document testing results;
  • Identify and document testing defects;
  • Proactively manage testing efforts end-to-end; and
  • Document platform changes.

About you:

  • You are a Bachelor or Master student with primary degree in Science, Engineering, Technology
  • You have programming experience to develop, test and debug basic code
  • You are resourceful in overcoming barriers to achieve objectives
  • You demonstrate a creative mind set with a strong interest in new technologies
  • You enjoy learning how to use new tools
  • You are hands-on and a problem-solver
  • You effectively communicate business issues, objectives and scope
  • You are detailed oriented and take pride in delivering high quality results
