About the Role
As the Business & Technology Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and overseeing thebusiness and technology architecture of the Group Security and Technology Platforms (GSTP)division. You will ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, drive fit-for-purpose technicalcapabilities, and enable consistent, secure and resilient service delivery across GSTP platforms.Working in a hybrid setup, you will balance collaboration in the office with the flexibility of workingfrom home — bringing your best thinking to some of the most meaningful challenges in globalrisk and resilience.


Key Responsibilities
Own the business architecture view for GSTP services and platforms, ensuring a clear andcomprehensive understanding of business processes, service capabilities, applications andinfrastructure services
Review and ensure alignment of GSTP services with enterprise architecture, proactivelyidentifying dependencies, architecture gaps, risks and opportunities for simplification andrationalisation
Define and maintain service business architecture artefacts, including service capabilitymodels and application landscape documentation, keeping them accurate and actionable
Support business process mapping and definition for GSTP services, translating complexbusiness needs into structured architecture requirements and forward-looking roadmaps
Partner with diverse stakeholders — including technology and security leads, serviceowners, product teams and enterprise architects — to ensure GSTP platforms remainaligned with target architecture, business priorities and operational needs
Champion continuous improvement, bringing curiosity, structure and a relentless drive tofind better ways of working every day.


About the Team
The Security Architecture team is the business, security and technology architecture function forthe Group Security & Technology Platforms (GSTP) division. Acting as a single, unifiedarchitectural voice towards the wider organisation, the team collaborates closely with distributedtechnology architects embedded in platform teams to gather detailed input, ensure alignmentand facilitate approvals.


The team owns the GSTP architecture governance system — encompassing the service, softwareand standard blueprint catalogues, the architecture validation approach and the control cataloguearchitecture. Through this ownership, Security Architecture ensures that services are catalogued,provisioned, consumed, operated and governed consistently — with secure, compliant,observable and resilient services available by default. It is a team that values clarity,collaboration and the belief that great architecture enables great outcomes.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
Significant experience in business and technology architecture or application landscapemanagement within a complex enterprise environment, with a strong track record ofdelivering structured, impactful outcomes
Deep expertise across several architecture disciplines, including one or more of thefollowing:
Business process modelling, capability mapping and service business architecture
Enterprise architecture alignment, target architecture definition and architectureroadmap development
Application portfolio, platform and infrastructure service architecture
Technical debt assessment, architecture risk identification and pragmatic remediationplanning
Architecture documentation, decision records, governance artefacts and clearcommunication of complex architecture topics
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with demonstrated ability to lead complexdiscussions across business, product, service owner, technology and enterprisearchitecture communities in a consulting and mediating capacity
Solid grasp of application development, platform operations, infrastructure services andservice lifecycle management, with familiarity in architecture governance and regulatedenterprise environments
Excellent communication skills — fluency in English (spoken and written), with the ability tocommunicate clearly, empathetically and in a solution-focused manner, and toindependently produce appropriate documentation
These are additional nice to haves:
Relevant certifications or qualifications in business architecture, enterprise or technologyarchitecture, service management or cloud architecture — such as
TOGAF, ArchiMate, ITIL or Azure architecture certifications. Security architecture certifications such as CISSP or CCSP or SANS qualifications
Experience working in or alongside cybersecurity functions, with an appreciation for howsecurity requirements shape architecture decisions
Familiarity with the impact of technology standards on service delivery in regulated, globalenterprise environments


Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office atleast three days per week.
