About the Role
As a Credit Controller at Swiss Re, you'll be at the center of our financial operations, overseeing critical credit control activities for our Direct/Primary insurance sector. You'll collaborate with outsourced partners while ensuring timely cash flows and accurate data processing that supports our global business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage timely cash flow from/to external parties with precision and attention to detail
- Provide oversight and collaboration with Outsource Partners for cash collection and payment allocation
- Ensure accurate data processing in administrative systems to maintain financial integrity
- Deliver insightful portfolio analysis to Underwriting & Actuarial teams
- Support financial closings and internal reporting requirements with timely information
- Enable Corporate Solutions' regulatory reporting compliance
- Assist with audit activities and prepare comprehensive information for auditors
- Maintain effective stakeholder management and deliver global cash reporting
- Collaborate with UAs & MGA Managers to implement efficient processes
- Support UAT planning and execution for system improvements
- Help implement regional/global project deployments
- Participate in yearly Business Continuity exercises
- Respond to ad hoc reporting requirements with flexibility and accuracy
About the Team
You'll be joining the CorSo Operations – Global Central Operations Asia & Pacific team, a vital part of Swiss Re's global financial infrastructure. Our team ensures smooth financial operations across the Asia-Pacific region, supporting Swiss Re's mission as one of the world's leading providers of reinsurance, insurance, and other forms of insurance-based risk transfer. We work collaboratively with various stakeholders to maintain financial integrity and enable business growth through effective credit management.
About You
You're a detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment where precision meets service excellence. You have strong analytical capabilities combined with excellent communication skills that allow you to work effectively across cultures and with various stakeholders. You're adaptable, customer-focused, and ready to contribute to our mission of making the world more resilient.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements
- Graduate degree in Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration
- Minimum 3 years of experience in (re)insurance industry
- Strong business communication and cross-cultural skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing tasks and priorities in a multifaceted environment
- Strong customer focus and service orientation
These are additional nice to haves:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as MS Excel, Access DB, Python, R, or similar
- Experience working with outsourced partners or in a global team environment
- Knowledge of insurance administrative systems
- Experience in financial reporting and audit support
- Project implementation experience
Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week
