About the Role
As an ESM ServiceNow DevSecOps Engineer II, you'll be at the forefront of developing and implementing sophisticated solutions on our ServiceNow platform. You'll leverage your technical expertise to build complex workflows, create seamless integrations, and ensure the platform operates at peak performance while adhering to security best practices.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive solutions, delivering entire epics independently while adhering to established guardrails and best practices

Build and maintain complex workflows, business processes, and applications on the ServiceNow platform

Create integrations with external systems using SOAP/REST protocols and handle data transformation as required

Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues efficiently to ensure platform stability

Mentor junior developers through work reviews and peer testing to maintain high-quality deliverables

Conduct peer reviews to promote best practices and enhance overall team performance

Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize processes and solutions

Collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, and solution architects to develop advanced solutions

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience

Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts

High proficiency in JavaScript and extensive experience in building custom applications on ServiceNow

Deep expertise in the ServiceNow platform, including security implementation and building scripted REST APIs, HTML/CSS, AJAX, JSON, and AngularJS

Experience in designing, configuring, and customizing Service Portal to deliver intuitive, user-friendly self-service experiences

Ability to generate data models and translate low-level designs into implementation code

Experience in creating automated tests at the use-case level to build a robust regression suite

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

DevSecOps mindset of "You build it – You run it"
