About the Role
As an IT Service Engineer II within our Treasury IT and D&T Finance team, you will play a pivotal role in keeping our Collateral Management platforms running smoothly, efficiently, and at the cutting edge. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll work across incident management, change delivery, vendor collaboration, and platform modernisation. Key Responsibilities
Incident & Request Management: Analyse, triage, and resolve L3 incidents and service requests in line with established processes, ensuring timely and effective outcomes
Change & Bug Fix Delivery: Manage and drive the end-to-end implementation of change requests and bug fixes, coordinating across stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
Vendor Liaison: Act as the key connecting point between the Collateral Management team and our external vendor, facilitating clear communication and efficient resolution of issues
Platform Modernisation: Actively support the team in modernising the underlying technology landscape, contributing ideas and technical expertise to drive progress
Release Management: Plan and execute minor release upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum reliability Platform
Maintenance & Quality: Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and optimisation of our platforms, with a strong focus on simplicity, performance, maintainability, and automation
Collaboration & Agile Delivery: Work closely with business SMEs and technical colleagues in multi-dimensional agile teams, championing quality, user experience, and documentation.

About You
You are a results-driven IT Service Engineer with a solid track record in supporting and enhancing client-facing solutions in complex technical environments. You bring a blend of technical depth and functional curiosity — you don't just fix problems, you understand them. You're comfortable navigating ambiguity, managing competing priorities, and communicating confidently with both technical peers and business stakeholders. You care deeply about quality, documentation, testing, and the bigger picture, and you bring a positive, collaborative energy to everything you do.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
4–8 years of relevant experience in IT service engineering or a related discipline
Strong working knowledge of data modelling and SQL, with the ability to work with complex data structures and queries
Solid experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automation tooling
Hands-on experience with shell scripting, with the ability to write and maintain scripts for automation and operational tasks
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
These are additional nice to haves:
Prior experience in the domains of Trading, Collateral Management, or Capital Markets — this would be a significant advantage
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms
Experience working in agile or DevOps-driven team environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — you enjoy untangling both technical and functional challenges
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal), with the confidence to navigate divergent expert opinions and ambiguous requirements
A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a genuine care for user experience and documentation quality
Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week
