L&H Business Coordinator II

Role Overview

Are you a candidate with strong experience in Re/Insurance? Are you looking forward to work closely with Regional Client Managers, Asia Pricing Office, partner and fellow colleagues based across Asia to support team Origination in administrating Quote life cycle, setting up of Reinsurance Contracts in system and handling quarterly activities such as Treaty Review and Closing by using in-house tools and technology? For this role, you are encouraged to have in-depth knowhow about insurance and reinsurance products and markets. You will deliver timely and accurate business-processing as well as administrative and technical support to L&H Origination community.

Main tasks/activities/responsibilities

Primary responsible for delivering accurate and timely service to Client Managers and for ensuring data accuracy in the following areas: ​

  • Quote Onboarding​
  • Deal Lifecycle Monitoring & Handling (Quote to Treaty)​
  • Treaty Setup​
  • Open Treaty Review Process support​
  • Contract drafting support​
  • Client interaction​
  • Reporting and KPI monitoring for stakeholders​
  • Testing and improvement proposals​
  • More expertise in reinsurance/market know – how​
  • Involvement in trainings and projects​

 

About You/ Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Re-Insurance industry. Understanding of Southeast Asia market is added advantage
  • Experience working in Reinsurance Admin team or equivalent function handling Quote administration and Treaty Execution process. Ability to read, analyze and interpret contract terms
  • Good understanding of Reinsurance value chain process, such as Actuarial, Finance, Underwriting, Contract and Accounting team
  • Understanding of Operational Risk Management (ORM) and Risk and Control Self-Assessment Framework (RCSA) is an added advantage
  • Eye for details. Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Expertise on Business applications and able to analyze gaps and suggest solutions
  • Commendable business communication skills, both verbal and written and cross-cultural understanding
  • Well versed on MS Office tools. Power BI skills will be added advantage
  • Strong customer focus and service orientation attitude
  • Take charge of personal and professional development as an individual
  • Ability to negotiate professionally with effective interactions
  • Ability to mentor/guide peers in solving technical situations
  • Excellent team player with high degree of self-responsibility
  • Think strategically to build the knowledge base and develop more use cases for the company to provide fact driven business judgements
