About the role:

Lead the end-to-end business service teams in Bangalore Servicing Sales, Products and Operations.  This position is in Solutions Operations and will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and is part of the global  Operations Management Team.

The key responsibilities are:

• Leads and manages the business service teams for pre-sales, onboarding and post sales

• Ensures stable, reliable and smooth delivery of business services spanning across entire value chain in Solutions

• Responsible for capacity and budget planning of the Business Service Teams

• Defines the service catalogue and key performance indicators for business service operations and ensures delivery against these indicators

• Engage with multiple business stakeholders and assist in addressing internal and external customer queries, concerns and feedback.

• Manges quality, capacity and productivity of the business service teams

• Ensures operational efficiency and works with Business Process Excellence function to continuously optimize processes

• Responsible for knowledge transition and onboarding of new business processes as Solutions increases its presence in Bangalore

• Creates an environment where people are engaged and motivated and acts as people manager addressing key HR related matters in the teams

Job requirements (education, linguistic ability, professional experience, leadership qualities, soft skills)

Education

• 5 + years relevant experience in Financial Services industry, preferably in SAAS and Consulting or primary insurance

• Recognized University Degree or equivalent

Professional experience

• Proven track record in end to end operations management with in depth knowledge in technical accounting and international program business. Ideally supplemented with knowledge in business services, underwriting processes and claims processing.

• Demonstrated experience in leading teams through change

• Experienced advocate with track record in implementing change

• Passionate about people development and talent management

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, a proven ability to influence people and gain buy in to new ideas

• Strong communicator and a service and client-oriented mindset

• Comfortable in dealing with different counterparts and cultures.
