Organisational Development Manager
About the Role
The Organisational Development (OD) team, part of the wider Talent & Culture (T&C) organisation, designs and delivers global solutions that shape how Swiss Re works and grows. Our focus areas include Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP), culture and inclusion, employee engagement, workforce and organisational effectiveness - all aligned with our business strategy and the latest market insights, including developments in AI and automation.
We drive initiatives that strengthen Swiss Re's culture, employee engagement, organisational effectiveness, ensuring the organisation is fit for the future and ready to deliver on its strategic ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to strategic organisational development projects, with a focus on culture activation, organisational effectiveness/design and work/role redesign.
- Drive cross-functional, global initiatives that align with business objectives and support the overall HR strategy, including workforce activation plans.
- Deliver results in a complex, global context, collaborating across HR, technology, and strategy teams.
- Leverage the latest technologies, including AI and automation, to enhance efficiency and deliver innovative, modern solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives, using data and feedback to inform continuous improvement.
- Support the Head of Talent & Culture and the Head of Organisational Development on other strategic projects and requests as needed.

About You
You are an experienced consultant or HR professional with a strong background in organisational development, strategic HR, or related areas such as AI process redesign, employee engagement, or organisational design. You bring both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery, thrive in complex environments, and are energised by driving meaningful change.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in organisational development, culture, employee engagement, or organisational effectiveness.
- Proven track record of managing complex HR projects in a global organisation.
- Strong project management, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of progressive technology trends and their application within HR.
These are additional nice to haves:
- Ability to navigate a global, matrixed organisation and build strong relationships at all levels.
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills, with a strong aptitude for learning new tools and technologies.
- Exceptional written and spoken English skills.
Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week
