About the Role
As a Platforms Engineer, you'll be at the intersection of infrastructure and applications, ensuring our enterprise platforms run smoothly in our cloud-native environment. You'll collaborate with vendors and internal teams to drive automation, enhance monitoring capabilities, and continuously improve our platform reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineering ownership of enterprise platforms running in cloud-native environments
- Coordinate with external vendors to ensure platform stability and performance
- Support and maintain Azure Kubernetes-based production platforms
- Drive automation initiatives to improve platform operations and reliability
- Implement monitoring solutions to ensure visibility into platform health
- Collaborate with cloud and application teams to troubleshoot platform issues
- Support integrations and workflows between various systems and platforms
- Continuously improve platform reliability and operability
About the Team
Our Platform Engineering team is responsible for building and maintaining the foundation that supports our enterprise applications. We work at the cutting edge of cloud technology, focusing on creating reliable, scalable, and secure platforms that enable our business to innovate and deliver value to our customers. We believe in automation, continuous improvement, and collaborative problem-solving to ensure our technology infrastructure meets the evolving needs of the organization.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- Experience or strong hands-on exposure to platform engineering, DevOps, and cloud operations in production environments
- Practical understanding of containerized applications and Kubernetes-based platforms (deployment, scaling, and basic troubleshooting)
- Experience working on Azure or another major public cloud platform
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment workflows
- Experience collaborating with external vendors or third-party engineering teams
- Working knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
These are additional nice to haves:
- Familiarity with .NET / C# or ability to read and understand application code
- Exposure to Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools
- Experience with document processing, workflow automation, or integration platforms
- Knowledge of observability stacks (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week
