Property Product Specialist (Hybrid Work Model)

About the Role :

As a Property Product Specialist, you will work closely with co-workers within Product team, IT development team, Sales team and our partners to develop exposure data service for various countries under the general guidance. You will use your strong data science skillsets to help analyze, evaluate and model various property datasets to enhance the competencies of the product.

About the Team

We are a team with broad ranges of knowledge and expertise in areas such as geospatial data and analytics, marketing research and analysis, natural catastrophe modeling, product development, risk engineering and underwriting. The team is a key pillar of Reinsurance Solutions and provides critical roles helping Reinsurance Solutions drive revenue growth.

About You

We are looking for an execution-oriented team-player who can think creatively, communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, and deliver in ambiguous situations.

Essentials:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Data Science, Geospatial Science or similar.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in big data analysis and modeling, including geospatial vector/raster data processing, as well as property data analysis and modeling.
• Basic understanding of key property attributes that can impact the risk related to property insurance.
• Fluent in Python, SQL, QGIS or ArcGIS.
• Fluent in English.

Nice to Have:

• 3 or more years of experience in Machine Learning (ML) models or in the P&C insurance industry.
• At least 1 year of recent experience in vector and raster specific processing software.
• Experience in project or product management.

Fluent in a secondary language such as Chinese, French, German, etc.
