About the team:

Join our high-performing global IT team, focused on supporting the Life & Health Reinsurance business using state-of-the-art application and analytics platforms. Our primary areas of focus are Origination, Data Management, Underwriting and Claims. We work closely with Subject Matter Experts, UI/UX designers and Behavioral Researchers to develop solutions that are offered to Swiss Re internals as well as external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the business community to understand and document business requirements and define corresponding solutions.

• Develop functional specifications and mapping documents.

• Support production incident and problem management.

• Participate in testing and go-live activities.

• Proactively manage stakeholders.

• Present and communicate ideas and designs to various teams for review and brainstorming.

• Support the resolution of development defects and/or operational/production incidents and problems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information systems, business administration, computer science, or a related field.

• 5-7 years of business analysis experience is required.

• Experience in agile development desired.

• Experience in the insurance industry is an advantage.

• Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• General programming experience is an advantage.

• Experience working with large data sets and relational databases is an advantage.

• Experience with Cloud computing and SaaS solutions is an advantage.
