About the Role

 

As a Senior Cloud Support Engineer for iptiQ Americas, you will be working on several of the key technology initiatives leveraging cutting edge data, cloud and integration technologies. You will be working with some of the brightest and smartest people who are set to change the insurance industry. Working within the CTO organization and reporting to the manager of iptiQ Americas IT Bangalore office, you will support cloud-based solutions and follow DEV Ops practices working with a revolutionary technology stack. You will perform system administration of multiple systems across environments, mentoring support engineers and work with Engineering on opening bugs and requests with all required diagnostic information.  There will be a requirement for your day to be from 7am to 4pm.  Also, you will be required to participate in on-call rotation.

 

  • Develop and maintain build plans for continuous integration and testing
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD build plans to integrate unit tests, code analyzers, code coverage measurements, security scans, automated tests, software deployments and reports with automation pipeline
  • Integrate and automate code quality checking (static analysis, vulnerability assessment) into software development lifecycle
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of industry trends, technologies and standards.

About You

 

  • Must have 8+ years in software development executing extremely complex IT projects 
  • Must have 3+ years of experience with Cloud Service Providers (CSP), especially Azure.
  • Develop and perfect DevOps automation scripting/tools such as Powershell, Ansible, Jenkins, Git, Puppet and Chef.
  • Source-code management and administration of infrastructure control tools and development in process-driven environments
  • Good Understanding of Operation Management Technologies - Log Aggregation, Server Monitoring, Process Monitoring, Application Monitoring - Splunk, Nagios, NewRelic, Logstash, Kibana
  • Experience maintaining high availability production systems in a Public/Private Cloud environment.
  • Web Services experience with Apache, Nginx, and RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with databases: SQL, NoSQL and Oracle
  • Kubernetes / Docker Swarm or Any other Docker Orchestration Technologies is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to execute on projects from start to finish with deep technical
