About the Team and the Role

Join our Document and Records Management (DRM) Platform team, where we deliver company-wide solutions for document processing, storage, and management. Our team focuses on core DMS capabilities, offering integrated and automated solutions in this domain.

The primary responsibility of the Technical Lead is to design, develop, engineer, test, and deliver critical cloud infrastructure platforms and components, specifically focusing on Output Management. This role mainly involves implementing and supporting OpenText Exstream, a leading Customer Communication Management (CCM) solution. As a Technical Lead, you will be dedicated to ensuring the highest levels of system availability and performance by applying fundamental principles of computer science and incorporating a DevSecOps mindset.

 

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage Output Management solutions, such as OpenText Exstream, for hybrid environments. This includes the design, implementation, and maintenance of these systems, alongside addressing any associated challenges.
  • Conduct assessments of the current business infrastructure to develop a roadmap for cloud migration, ensuring the integration of existing Output Management solutions into a cloud ecosystem.
  • Ensure that technology solutions are ready for production, maintainable through established support methodologies and resources, and adhere to specified requirements.
  • Research new technologies and prototype new ideas. Lead and participate in team development efforts, such as creating proofs of concept and prototypes, while acting as a subject matter expert during the introduction of these technologies.
  • Lead architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment, meeting security standards and guaranteeing high availability in both Cloud and hybrid setups.
  • Maintain adequate documentation and ensure effective communication, establishing quality controls around continuous architecture documentation culture.
  • Investigate and resolve configuration and other non-software related issues, proactively manage production problems and incidents, and assume responsibility for resolving them.
  • Facilitate communication with business stakeholders regarding technical issues or major changes, actively engage in discussions, acting as the technical domain subject matter expert.

 

About You

  • Solid background in Computer Science fundamentals, with knowledge of cloud computing and solution architecture.
  • In-depth, hands-on experience with Output Management solutions, including OpenText Exstream. Familiarity with Assentis is a plus.
  • Problem-solving skills and troubleshooting experience. Commitment to quality and timely delivery.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies, demonstrating an Agile mindset and ability to work effectively in Agile teams.
  • High degree of independence in managing tasks and time efficiently.
  • Ability to lead and support team members, offering guidance and assistance to juniors as required.
  • Very good English communication capabilities are required.

 

Education/Experience:
  • An Engineering Degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline combined with experience in Information/Document Management Systems is required.
  • Know-how in architecture, administration, template design, and operations of CCM products, especially Assentis and OpenText Exstream, is highly advantageous.
  • Experience with enterprise infrastructure (cloud, on-prem) and the Software Lifecycle Development (SLDC) process.
