About the Role:
As a Senior TA Analyst, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of premium and claim transactions while providing valuable insights through data analysis. You'll work with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex accounting issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Compliance-Validate and analyze** premium and claims data against contract wordings/agreements to ensure compliance
- Financial Validation -Monitor financial numbers in Technical Accounting systems and identify adverse premium/claim trends from client data
- Data Analysis-Develop data analysis summaries that aid decision-making across multiple cross-functional teams
- Performance Management -Deliver consistently on operational commitments and key performance indicators to effectively manage cash flow
- Effective Internal Collaboration-Collaborate with team members and take ownership of team activities in specific markets
- Stakeholder Management-Build strong relationships with stakeholders and contribute to strengthening client relationships, work effectively with multiple matrixed teams across Geographical Boundaries to implement best practices.
- Knowledge Sharing -Act as a Subject Matter Expert and take initiative to enhance technical/process knowledge across the Technical Accounting team
About the Team
This position is part of the Global Technical Accounting & Services organization for Life & Health Business, which has overall responsibility for Technical Accounting functions worldwide, including Business Solution Centers. The team ensures that payments received from clients (premiums) and payments made to clients (claims) reconcile against expected amounts. Working within established frameworks while finding innovative solutions is key to the team's success. The role reports to the Manager Operations Southeast Asia & India.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Accounting, Insurance or equivalent field
- 4+ years of work experience in banking, insurance, or other financial services industries
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent client management abilities
- Proven data analytical skills and experience working with financial data
- Sound insurance product knowledge and understanding of Insurance/Reinsurance End-to-End Value Chain
These are additional nice to haves:
- Experience with SAS and Python
- Previous experience in technical accounting or similar roles in reinsurance
- Knowledge of international financial reporting standards
- Experience working in a global, multicultural environment
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
