About role:
Position objectives and position summary
- To provide proactive administrative handling of reinsurance business and to establish good stake holder connect
- Responsible for efficient and high-quality data quality handling of the reinsurance business of clients.
- Quickly understand existing Swiss RE systems and processes and contribute to improve higher efficiency and quality
- Analyze sophisticated technical problems and deliver solutions with clear standards
Main tasks/activities
- Co-ordination with key stakeholders, regional BS colleagues and XFT teams for smooth handling of E2E business origination processes for Treaty and Facultative lines of business
- Assistance to the Client Markets operations ensures standard reporting of the market units are done in timely manner with high quality
- Proficient understanding of E2E process and the larger reinsurance picture and linking to other functions and effective contribution to business goals
- Provide technical support for APAC Treaty / Fac businesses new and renewal process for Specialty lines of business
- Handle e2e tasks such as Submission induction, ITC Screening, Contract wording review support, Treaty and Fac system input along with complete document storage in relevant tools.
- Coordinate with cross functional team to provide support to client markets related functions (eg. follow- up with Biz Ops Team, Finance Team, Regional Account Coordiantors ang global Specialty colleagues on any outstanding issues)
- Provides administrative support regarding tools, record management processes (data entry and data quality)
- Build good connect and collaboration with broader global Business Services teams/ experts based in regions
- Support and ensure (external and internal) Audit compliance
About Team
APAC Specialty Business services team handle e2e Origination processes for Facultative and Treaty lines of business across APAC locations. The team consist of 6 experienced Specialty Underwriting coordinators supporting Client markets on a daily basis. They also interact with various XFT teams and Business service colleagues across P&C and Specialty lines globally.
About you:
- Minimum 1-2 years working experience in Insurance or Reinsurance
- Proficient reinsurance/insurance knowledge of business processes and tools
- Good understanding of Business services and related upstream and downstream functions Good Stakeholder management – Client Manager, Underwriter, Client Underwriter
- Proficient understanding of ORM/RCSA is an added advantage
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good Understanding & Interpretation of Contract wordings and clauses
Educational qualifications
- Graduate / Post-graduate with Insurance certification is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Word/ Excel / PowerPoint and Power B
