About the Role

We are looking for a 'Digital Solutions Expert' to further evolve SwiftRe®, Swiss Re’s digital facultative underwriting channel.

As a subject matter expert across the reinsurance value chain, you will combine strong underwriting expertise with digital solution thinking. • Identify and drive opportunities to enhance automation, validation logic, and rule-based decision processes across the submission lifecycle.
  • Increase straight-through processing and operational efficiency through targeted digital enhancements.
  • Define and prioritize solution improvements, including API-enabled integrations and optimized data utilization.
  • Contribute to intelligent solution enhancements, including the use of AI and agent-based capabilities to support workflow automation, decision support, and testing optimization.
  • Support modern testing approaches, including automated, scenario-based, and AI-assisted validation techniques.
  • Collaborate closely with Products, Underwriting, IT, and Operations to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
  • Support solution validation, UAT, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment with business objectives, compliance requirements, and operational standards.

About the Team

About You

  • Strong underwriting experience, with hands-on exposure to underwriting processes, tools, and digital enablement initiatives.
  • Broad understanding of the end-to-end reinsurance value chain, including underwriting, accounting, and claims interactions.
  • Experience contributing to digital solution evolution in a business-driven context.
