About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for selling Reinsurance Solutions including licenses, maintenance, and services to meet and exceed key business measurements within specified sales territory, geography and/or set of targeted accounts.


•    Generate sales of L&H Solutions and implement our go to market strategy in China.
•    Deliver on fee-based income targets as per the annual business plan.
•    Identify and prospect potential clients and leads through various channels.
•    Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.
•    Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand client requirements and find opportunities.
•    Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value proposition.
•    Negotiate and close deals with a focus on meeting or exceeding sales targets.
•    Collaborate with marketing and Solutions Product Development teams to develop and implement effective strategies to improve client outreach and generate new business.
•    Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
•    Maintain a solid knowledge of the Company’s underlying technology, the range of existing products and consulting services.
•    Provide input on client needs and recommend product improvements with maximum commercial up-side for our Product roadmaps.
•    Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.

•    Provide regular reports and sales forecasts to management.
•    Build new client and non-insurance segment relationships to expand the reach of the Swiss Re Solutions franchise
•    Ensure a collaborative One-Swiss Re approach across the reinsurance client base.
•    Connect pro-actively with Swiss Re's existing teams, infrastructure, systems and processes.
•    Foster a collaborative working relationship across all functions and relevant regional and global teams.


About the Team

Solutions are services and platforms delivered to clients that lead to new, more or better business profit generation for Swiss Re that would not happen through our traditional Reinsurance business. Key to the success of this business is our ability to serve/harvest existing clients and win new clients with a scope that extends beyond Swiss Re's traditional reinsurance clients to cover the full scope of all insurance companies and non-insurance partners in adjacent sectors where our risk knowledge can add value.


About You

•    10 years relevant Sales and Origination experience in either financial, technology or professional services.
•    Relevant experience and knowledge of L&H insurance technology and risk management landscape in the assigned market.
•    Ability to consistently deliver sales and revenue targets and demonstrate commercial hunger and sales drive.
•    Strong prospecting and lead generation skills.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers at C-suite level.
•    Determined and self-motivated with a drive to achieve and exceed targets.
•    Positive team player who takes decisions in conjunction with key internal and external decision makers.
•    Track record of building and working in successful teams and thriving in cross functional operating models.
•    Fluent in English preferred.
