About the Role

In this role of Associate Client Accounting, you will be accountable for effectively managing transactions for the allocated portfolios/end to end processing and ensuring deliverable are met (quality output within turn around times defined) through adequate understanding of reinsurance accounting principles. One of the key activities is to ensure that payments received from clients (for example premiums) and payments made to clients (for example claims) reconcile against those payments expected. The client management façade of this role would require you to correspond with internal and external clients to resolve issues with respect to information, next steps, actionable, etc. Improvising while working within a set framework of policies and processes is key to the role.

You will work independently with the respective business units and apply your service management skills and experience.

 

  • Consistently deliver on operational commitments
  • Delivering on the Technical Accounting mandates including Key Performance Indicator's & Quality Parameters to efficiently handle/accelerate Cash in the books while demonstrating Swiss Re Values.
  • Be able to use SQL language to perform Premium and Claims validation on the Client Seriatim data to make sure Client data is aligning with the contractual terms.
  • One of the key activities is to ensure that payments received from clients (for example premiums) and payments made to clients (for example claims) reconcile with client ledger.
  • Deliver results in consultation and as part of multiple-matrixed teams besides directly assigned work.
  • Handling efficient and effective relevant business processes, portfolios, and business coordination with Cross Functional Team'.

 

About You

Education and professional experience:

  • Banchelor degree and above in Insurance, Information Management, Accounting, Actuarial Science, and Statistics etc. relevant majors 
  • 1-3 years' experience in insurance or reinsurance companies or consulting industry on relevant position

Skills requirements:

  • Strong Analytical skills, experience in SQL is a must.
  • Sound Insurance Product Knowledge & understanding of Insurance/Reinsurance Value Chain
  • Strong computer skills (i.e. Outlook/Word/Excel/Power Point).
  • Languages: fluent in English and Mandarin
