About the role 


The Program Manager will be an integral part of our transformation to SAFe Agile across the organization. This person will be responsible for the following tasks: 


  • Coach leaders, teams and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets 

  • Establish and communicate the annual calendars for Iterations and Program Increments (PIs) 

  • Faciliate Program Increments readiness by fostering a continuous exploration process which drives a vision, a roadmap, and backlogs through Pre and Post- PI Planning meetings 

  • Summarize Team PI Objectives into Program PI Objectives

  • Assist tracking the execution of features and capabilities 

  • Help manage risks and dependencies 

  • Escalate and track impediments 

  • Provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks 

  • Work with Product and Solutions Management, Product owner and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment 

  • Champion SAFe adoption

About You 


  • Bachelor s Degree and at least 7+ years of experience in a complex project and program management role with at least with 5+ years leading Scrum teams. 

  • Certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or RTE certification or Scrum Master certification 

  • 5+ years of experience with Agile methodologies; Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Experience in a large scale development environment applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory. 

  • Experience with managing distributed teams 

  • Experience functioning in the Release Train Engineer role or similar coaching role for at least 2 years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, in an Agile environment that scales up to a program or portfolio level 

  • Experience with Agile collaboration tools such as Jira, CA Rally, Trello, etc
