About the Role & Team
We are the largest data science team at Swiss Re, and we’re seeking a proactive AI Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations.
This role focuses on ensuring that our AI teams operate smoothly by supporting recruitment coordination, governance processes, internal communication, and team collaboration. You will work closely with data scientists, AI engineers, and leadership to maintain efficient operations and a well-connected, high-performing environment.
Your contribution will be critical in keeping processes, communication, and organizational support running seamlessly, enabling our teams to focus on delivering impactful AI solutions.
Your Main Responsibilities
If you join us, you will contribute to a variety of operational and coordination activities. For example, you will:
• Support recruitment and onboarding activities, including coordination of interviews, candidate communication, and onboarding preparation.
• Organize and manage team meetings and cross-functional touchpoints, from regular team syncs to larger ad hoc sessions.
• Coordinate trainings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and internal events such as show-and-tells, workshops, and conferences.
• Maintain and improve team governance processes, including documentation, communication, and compliance-related support.
• Maintain and expand the Data Science & AI Wiki, ensuring content is up to date, structured, and easily accessible.
• Serve as a central point of contact for operational topics such as onboarding, knowledge sharing, internal communication, and governance-related guidance.
• Support internal communications, including newsletters, updates, and AI-related announcements.
• Help coordinate team-wide initiatives, presentations, and internal reporting activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve team operations, processes, and collaboration practices.
About You
You thrive in an enabling role focused on supporting teams and making operations run smoothly. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable coordinating across both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You enjoy creating structure, improving processes, and ensuring that teams can operate efficiently and effectively.
We’re looking for someone with:
• A proactive, highly motivated personality with strong communication skills
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Experience supporting teams in dynamic environments
• Familiarity with enabling tools such as Microsoft 365. good working knowledge of PowerPoint and SharePoint would be a strong advantage
• Confidence in organizing meetings, facilitating discussions, and managing internal communication
• Interest in AI, technology governance, and team operations
• Ability to drive process improvements and support knowledge-sharing initiatives

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1,900 and EUR 3,200 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.
