About the Team

 

As TA Intern L&H you will be an important part of Technical Accounting working with skilled professionals from the field.

 

Life & Health Technical Accounting department is part of the core business operations within Swiss Re. Our colleagues are responsible for managing portfolio of clients, data analysis and cash flow handling. The quality of our work mirrors Swiss Re reputation and is instrumental to the company's growth in world markets

 

 

About the Role

 

As our new colleague you will support Technical Accounting with collaboration and analysis. You will gain an exclusive view into reinsurance contracts and processes and participate on tasks that are crucial for smooth running of the Unit.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Running reports and data analysis
  • Data validation and quality checks
  • Daily use of Swiss Re tools, applications and MS office package
  • Communication and collaboration within the company
  • Switching between team and individual work
  • Supporting teams with ad hoc tasks

 

 

About You

 

You have friendly personality and good communication and presentation skills. Learning excites you and you are keen to take on new challenges. You are well known for your "can-do" attitude.

You strive to harness your knowledge from accounting, finance or economic background and have an opportunity to learn, develop and uncover your potential.

 

Essentials:

  • A University student – studies preferably in economics / management / business administration but all motivated students are encouraged to apply
  • English language – proficient written and spoken (any other language is an advantage)
  • User knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Flair for numbers

 

Basic training provided for every new joiner.

Minimum base salary for this job is from 8 EUR per hour. Our offer to you may be higher based on your skills and experience and will include additional rewards and benefits.
