Automation Lead (hybrid)

About the Role
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation frameworks for both business processes and software testing.
In this role, you will play a critical part in improving the efficiency and quality of our business processes and the Magnum product (Swiss Re's automated underwriting platform) through innovative automation solutions. You will collaborate closely with various departments to achieve these goals.
Your main responsibilities will include:

Analyze current business processes to identify automation opportunities, gather business' requirements and define key objectives.

Conceptualize automated solutions and understand implemented design architecture.

Design, develop, and implement automation workflows using industry-standard tools and technologies.

Maintain and optimize existing automation solutions to enhance performance and reliability; leverage best practices to design testing automation framework.

Document automation processes, workflows, and procedures; report automation progress, challenges, and outcomes to stakeholders.

Conduct process assessments to identify new automation opportunities, quickly assess feasibility, and propose benefits for automation projects. Implement improvements to enhance automation frameworks and methodologies.

Participate in workshops and training sessions to continuously expand skills and knowledge of the team.
About You
You are a self-starter focused on delivering high-quality results and overcoming new challenges. You enjoy learning and staying up to date with the latest trends and advancements in automation technologies. You excel in problem-solving and analysis, with strong structure and attention to detail. Your outstanding interpersonal skills enable you to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders, and your welcoming and convincing personality helps resolve issues and encourage others towards a common goal. You can work independently but also integrate well as part of a team.
Essential:

5+ years of experience in process automation and testing automation. Overall experience of 10+ years.

Proven experience with automation tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Selenium, or similar.

Familiarity with web services and APIs for integrating automation solutions.

Understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
Highly desirable:

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools.

Financial / insurance services experience.

Proficient in programming languages such as Java.

Relevant certifications in automation tools and technologies.
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between 3 100 and 5 100 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
