Automation software developer (hybrid)
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an Automation software developer who will be a member of our global Solutions team. You will be instrumental in evolving and supporting our Automated Underwriting tool Magnum that is deployed with over 80 clients globally.
Your role will involve design, specification, development, testing and continuous improvement of the underwriting rules that underpin the benefit Magnum brings to our clients.
Magnum is a strategic solution which enables our client's digital transformation based on a combination of best-in-class risk management and new technologies.
The main responsibilities include:

Participate in the design, development and delivery of automation solutions that fulfil client's requirements

Producing clear specification documents based on work done

Test and validate development outcomes compared to client requirements

Drive your own implementation projects based on scheduled scope and budget

Conduct data analysis to improve performance of client solutions

Contribute to Magnum product development to enhance its functionalities

Additional ad hoc projects within the unit

Experience in IT industry, Banking, Financial services or Insurance sector with exposure in the IT projects

At least 1 to 3 years of experience in software development or automation process development

Fast learner and ability to quickly pick up new areas to develop yourself

Knowledge of Agile Methodology / software development

Basic understanding of Java/JavaScript is considered advantageous
-
Well-developed decision-making and problem-solving capabilities. Familiarity with Business Analysis tools or Process engineering is a plus
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between 1 500 and 2 500 EUR per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,

the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
