Bank Connectivity Analyst
About the Role
We are looking for a sharp and ambitious Bank Connectivity Analyst, who is respected by peers, thrives collaborating in a diverse multi-national team and is passionate about Payments and Messages, technical solutions, data and making a difference. The successful candidate will have an understanding of global payment markets, SWIFT formats and experience working with global banking partners at a technical level connecting with host to host applications or through a Swift Service Bureau. Is experienced working with globally disbursed teams and managing multiple workstreams while delivering high quality to business users.
Your scope of work will include the integration of Swiss Re Treasury systems with the Global Payment Hub, Financial Messaging Hub, SWIFT Service Bureau, as well as advising and supporting our business community on a wide range of payment and messaging topics.
Key Responsibilities
- Engaging with SWIFT, banking partners and business users on payment and messaging formats.
- Understand various payment/message formats such as MT, MX or XML formatting.
- Work closely with business users to understand their specific needs and provide technical guidance on options with implementing.
- Configure and maintain business rules in the global payment hub.
- Creation of seamless integration and issues resolution for business teams.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including planning, execution, monitoring and reporting to business team.
- Develop and maintain documentation that outlines business requirements and ensures compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Provide training and support to the team as required.
About the Team
Treasury InfoTech is the partner of Group Treasury. The team is composed of around 40 people (internals & externals) and is present in Zurich, USA, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Bratislava. Banking Connectivity is one of the five squads of the Treasury InfoTech which is providing and operating the systems to handle bank accounts and payments for the entire Swiss Re organization connecting internal systems to the SWIFT infrastructure.
About You
You are a self-starter with a keen curiosity about new technology and motivated, energetic and enthusiastic about using technology to address business challenges. You are passionate about supporting business teams and tech savvy having experience of agile working practices and understanding of the business domain.
- University degree in IT, finance, or business.
- 5+ years of significant work experience in IT projects with technical or business analyst background.
- Experienced with Agile Working concepts
- Solid understanding of financial messaging including software vendor products. TRAX, GTSuite, SWIFT is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience of SWIFT MT and MX messages, payments integration/payments hub and related ISO15022 and ISO20022 standards
- Knowledge of International and Cross border Payments/Schemes
- Excellent team player but not afraid to work independently.
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 2,200] and [EUR 3,700] per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
