Business Analyst

About the role

As Business Analyst you will be engaged to design and maintain Contracts, Accounting & Claims related application. You will interact closely with our business customers on support activities, requirement gathering and specification. It also requires good interpersonal skills on skills as you will be the main contact person for your product development team to outside parties during all phases

In your role you are responsible to:

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and Product Area Lead
  • Translate business terminology into technical language and vice versa
  • Support resolution of operational incidents and defects
  • Rationalize and challenge requirements and processes together with the business to drive focus on high value improvements
  • Write clear and concise requirements and acceptance criteria, ensuring that requirements are unambiguous, complete, consistent and verifiable

About You

You are a good communicator both written and spoken.

The most important skills and experience we are looking for include:

  • Experience with business analysis
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with orientation to detail and focus on the customer
  • Ability to articulate complex technical issues to a non-technical audience

Additional advantages

  • Experience with Re-/Insurance in general and Facultative P&C in particular
  • Exposure to agile development approaches (e.g. Scrum) and familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, Confluence

 

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 2,200] and [EUR 3,700] per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
  • the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.

 In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.
