About the Role
As a Business Process Excellence Manager, you'll work at the intersection of business strategy and operational execution. You'll collaborate closely with business process owners, department heads, and cross-functional teams to streamline, harmonize, and continuously improve our processes. Reporting to the Lead Business Excellence, you'll be instrumental in shaping our SAAS Operating Model and driving our operational excellence practice across Solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and reimagine customer journeys towards our clients and target expense ratio
- Identify and execute improvement and automation opportunities in end-to-end processes
- Implement AI and data analytics solutions to enhance business efficiency and effectiveness
- Integrate and standardize processes across various Solutions areas
- Optimize processes and tools for maximum customer value and cost efficiency using lean/six sigma/AI methodologies
- Document processes in Aris and ensure operational compliance with group standards
- Collaborate with SwissRe group on operational resilience and perform annual assessments
- Drive core business process management topics including continuous improvement and systems thinking
- Implement changes that define Solutions' target operating model
- Apply problem-solving methodologies such as DMAIC/Six Sigma, Lean, and Design Thinking
- Facilitate workshops with business experts related to assigned projects
- Develop metrics to measure process improvements and create insightful reports
- Participate in the Group process excellence community to exchange methodologies and ensure alignment

About You
You're a process improvement enthusiast with a knack for identifying inefficiencies and implementing practical solutions. You thrive in collaborative environments and can effectively communicate complex ideas to stakeholders at all levels. Your analytical mindset allows you to see both the big picture and the detailed steps needed to achieve transformational change.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- At least 5+ years of experience in Business Process Management
- Significant experience in a primary Insurance company or SAAS/Consulting company (relevant experience from other industries will also be considered)
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with enterprise-wide and/or cross-functional change initiatives with a high degree of complexity
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively across different regions, cultures, and time zones
These are additional nice to haves:
- Lean or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification
- Management consulting experience
- Project & Change Management certifications
- Experience with process modeling tools and methodologies
- Knowledge of insurance industry processes and regulatory requirements
- Experience implementing AI and automation solutions in business processes
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 3250 and EUR 5400 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
