Claims Analyst (Hybrid)

About the role
Your main responsibilities will entail processing, analysing and supporting claims activities for specific claims' portfolio, including system support, improvements and testing in conjunction with claim process. Furthermore, you will lead and participate in various claims, accounting and operational projects.
The claims analyst is accountable for day-to-day administration of Low claim matters, where they independently process, assess and adjudicate all claims within a certain authority limit. The employee will in addition report relevant information to the management, liaise with underwriters, brokers, lawyers, etc. on key claims-related issues and supports business teams as well. They are also encouraged to proactively pursue their career advancement by developing current and new areas of competence on their own initiative.
Your essential responsibilities will be:

Analyse, control and examine any claims documents and reports received to timely complete any required adjustments

Establish and handle claims files in appropriate system in timely manner and in consistency with applicable SOP and Claims Handling Expectations

Use diary and action plans to keep the claims moving towards final resolution, completing annual claims reviews

Adhere to implemented key controls and periodically provide an overview of each of the assigned accounts to a portfolio manager

Serve as first point of contact to external clients and assist them with any inquiry they may have in relation to claims and operational issues

About You

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience working in (re)insurance, preferably in Claims, Claims Ops or Underwriting

Outstanding customer focus and interpersonal skills allowing you to actively contribute to the team spirit as well as effectively connect with people in multinational environments

Ability to work both independently or collaboratively while prioritizing and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
-
Proficiency in English (reading, written and verbal)

Strong analytical skills, digital literacy and experience with MS Office Package
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1700 and EUR 2800 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,

the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In the situation where you significantly exceed the requirements, the offered salary may be above the advertised range.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
