We are an international and growing team of insurance professionals supporting the claims handlers based in EMEA region in handling direct claims, both primary and excess. Additionally, we have just embarked on the new exciting journey – adjudicating of low value claims for Marine, Aviation, Casualty and Property lines of business. About the role
You will be responsible for entering claims information into our legacy systems, assessing and processing claims, monitoring reserving levels and supporting several business teams. In addition, you will report comprehensive claims information to the claims handlers, and depending on the level of experience as well as expertise, you may liaise with underwriters, lawyers and brokers on key claims-related issues as well. Your essential responsibilities will be:
- Examining claims documents received, undertake any required adjustments and establish claims files in legacy systems
- Communicating with customers via phone and written correspondence to obtain specific claim information as needed
- Reviewing client inquiries regarding open billing invoices as well as statements from clients and brokers
- Ensuring timely and accurate processing of claim documents, including claims payments and claims setup, sending of acknowledgement letters, and other non-core claims processes
- Working with the Accounting team to book corrections and assure ledger accuracy

Essentials:
- Proficiency in English (reading, written and verbal)
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, allowing you to actively contribute to the team spirit as well as effectively communicate with people in multiple environments
- Ability to work both independently or collaboratively while prioritizing and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent customer focus and can-do mindset are your strengths
- Digital literacy and experience with MS Office Package
Additional assets:
- Knowledge and understanding of (re)insurance products and business
- Proficiency in any other European language
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1200 and EUR 2000 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In the situation where you significantly exceed the requirements, the offered salary may be above the advertised range.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
