About the Team 

 

As a new member of our Intern team you will be an important part of Claims department working with skilled professionals from the field. Property & Casualty  department is part of the core business operations within Swiss Re. Our colleagues are responsible for managing portfolio of clients, data analysis and cash flow handling. The quality of our work mirrors Swiss Re reputation and is instrumental to the company's growth in world markets  

  

About the Role 

 

As our new colleague you will  support Claims operation with analysis of documents and updating the claim files. You will gain an overview into reinsurance contracts and processes and participate on tasks that are crucial for smooth running of the Unit. 

 

Key responsibilities: 

 

  • Claim analysis 
  • Data validation and quality checks 
  • Daily use of Swiss Re tools, applications and MS office package 
  • Communication and collaboration within the Unit 
  • Switching between team and individual work 
  • Supporting teams with ad hoc tasks 

 

About You 

 

You have friendly personality and good communication and presentation skills. Learning excites you and  you are keen to take on new challenges. You are well known for your "can-do" attitude. You strive to harness your knowledge from accounting, finance or economic background and have an opportunity to learn, develop and uncover your potential. 

 

Essentials: 

 

  • A University student (studies preferably in economics /management/business administration), but all motivated students are encouraged to apply 
  • English language – proficient written and spoken (any other language is an advantage) 
  • User knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills 

 

For Slovakia the base salary for this position is 7 EUR / gross / hour.

 

Basic training provided for every new joiner.
