Claims Specialist with English (German or another European language is an advantage)

About the Role
 

The iptiQ EMEA Claims Expert role is a varied and interesting role, covering a wide area of responsibility. Being there at the moment a customer needs to claim is the reason iptiQ exists. As a claims assessor based in the Centre of Excellence in Bratislava, you will support the activities of the claims team, based in the major cities across Europe. 
 

You will be responsible for the following:


•    Daily monitoring and management of the claim's workload, ensuring claims are assessed in a timely manner, invoices are settled, and SLAs are met.
•    Proactively manage and adjudicate Life & Health Claims, considering both medical, financial and title evidence.
•    Analyze management information to continually monitor claims, service levels and expenses; reporting in a timely manner opportunities and development to key stakeholders.
•    Preparation for client facing activities, such as trainings and audits.
•    Support for translation of claim related documents and internal tools (such as AssessQ).
•    Show active drive and passion for our customer centric culture.

 

As your skills grow and you become more competent, you will become responsible for other key accountabilities:  


•    Effectively manage operational risk in accordance with Swiss Re and iptiQ EMEA and standards, applying claims insights to new business deals and processes and product development in line with iptiQ EMEA Product Development Approval Process.
•    Effectively manage fraud risks and implement fraud controls across all areas of claims, from onboarding, claims assessment and claim audits.
•    Dealing with all claims-related queries and requests for claims insight and knowledge. 
•    Provide technical comment and sign off for customer literature and customer interfaces. 
•    Carry out regular value-add claim audits to monitor the performance of 3rd party claims service providers in line with iptiQ EMEA Service Level Framework.  
•    Support the enhancement of our claims service, looking at new ways of working, ensuring they meet the expectations of customers, clients and TCF principles.  
•    Contribute to the success of the iptiQ EMEA Underwriting and Claims team.     

 

About You


•    Previous L&H claims experience is essential
•    Proficient in English (another European language would be an advantage)
•    Very good in analytical and critical thinking
•    Consistently demonstrates curiosity, energy and interest in learning new skills
•    Flexible and able to juggle the demanding requirements from multiple stakeholders 
•    Strong team player
•    Empathetic approach to customers and be able to demonstrate active passion and drive for our customer centric culture

The minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 1600 EUR full time. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group.
