About the Role

 

 

As a Compliance Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of our regulatory monitoring efforts, helping to ensure that we have a robust Compliance Regulatory Monitoring Framework in place. You'll work with diverse stakeholders across the global Compliance function addressing an ever-changing regulatory landscape.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Contribute to the operation of the Compliance Regulatory Monitoring Framework through continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support the monitoring of the global regulatory landscape to identify and triage in-scope regulations and regulatory changes relating to records management
  • Perform quality assurance of regulatory assessments to maintain consistency across the Compliance function
  • Collate management information on regulatory monitoring activities across the Compliance function

 

 

About the Team

 

 

The Compliance Programme, Policy and Awareness (PPA) team is responsible for delivering robust Compliance Risk frameworks at Swiss Re. We develop and maintain appropriate policies and solutions and build the training and awareness programmes that educate employees on their responsibilities and behaviours in identifying and managing Compliance Risks. We are a diverse team based in Zurich, Bratislava, Armonk and London.

 

 

About You

 

 

You're a process-oriented professional who appreciates the importance of strong frameworks in effective risk mitigation. Your organizational skills allow you to prioritize competing demands efficiently, while your interpersonal abilities enable you to collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds. You work well in environments that combine analytical thinking with practical implementation.

 

 

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in legal, compliance, or regulatory fields
  • Able to read and interpret legislation and regulations
  • Familiar with using AI tools in a professional context
  • Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization capabilities

 

These are additional nice to haves:

  • Knowledge of regulatory monitoring or regulatory change management processes and tools
  • Insurance or financial services industry experience

 

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1,800 and 3,000 EUR per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

 

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
  • the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.

 

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
