Compliance Business Analyst (Hybrid)

About the team

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join our global Compliance Digital & Analytics team, based in Zürich and Bratislava! The team is responsible for improving the usage of technology and data for the benefit of Compliance across Swiss Re Group, and drive Compliance insights for management and key Compliance stakeholders. Our services include business analysis, development and management of Compliance specific tools and data analytical solutions. The development of digital & analytics capabilities is a key strategic direction for Compliance.

 

About the role

 

In this role, you will act as business analyst for key Compliance tools and support the execution of our tech strategy in coordination with IT by developing, maintaining and administering Compliance digital solutions for use within the division and throughout Swiss Re. 

Your key tasks involve understanding the business problem and identifying a solution with the available data through discussions with Compliance's domain specialists.

 

Main tasks/activties/responsibilities:
 

•    Maintain and further develop assigned Compliance tools, including managing the change request process 
•    Translate Compliance policies, standards, and processes into business requirements to support the development of new Compliance tools
•    Collaborate with other Compliance teams 
•    Act as main liaison between Compliance and IT development teams. Cooperate with business users and our colleagues in IT, connect with vendors, test changes, provide project support, and functional training
•    Participate in Compliance projects to support the business analysis, development and management of new and existing Compliance specific tools & processes
•    Support development of analytics and insights around our tools 

 

About you

 

Essentials:

•    More than 2 years relevant professional work experience (e.g., as business analyst, in IT or in any other relevant field)

•    Able to work with business (non-technical) staff and translate their needs into documented requirements 
•    Ability to prioritize system changes 
•    Effective communication skills in English, and ability to work with multiple partners from diverse multinational backgrounds 

 

Nice to haves: 

•    University degree preferably in business administration, computer science is a nice to have  
•    Experience managing IT tools is a nice to have 
•    Expertise with MS Power Apps and Power Automate is nice to have

 

You have strong interpersonal skills, and are good at dealing with people and establishing relationships. You are able to navigate ambiguity and balance multiple projects at once.  You conduct work activities efficiently and are flexible and pragmatic.  The ideal candidate has curious nature, wanting to dive deep into complex topics with a desire to learn and provide novel solutions.

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 2,100 and EUR 3,400 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers: 
•    the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role, 
•    the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience. 

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
