Compliance Coordinator (Hybrid)

About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating compliance activities to support Swiss Re’s strategies, ensuring the company adheres to applicable rules and regulations. You will contribute to maintaining and improving the compliance framework, collaborating with stakeholders across various departments, and promoting the use of compliance-focused tools and processes. This is a role with a global scope, offering diverse and dynamic responsibilities.
• Support the development and maintenance of the Compliance Program and associated risk mitigation standards for existing and new regulations, including policies, guidelines, training, and communication.
• Provide guidance and technical expertise to key stakeholders.
• Assist with compliance initiatives across the company.
• Investigate compliance-related incidents and coordinate with technical experts to support appropriate assessments.
• Support responses to requests from internal and external bodies.
• Help design and deliver compliance-related training.
About the Team
We're a collaborative team that seeks innovative solutions to compliance challenges. We work globally, with team members in EMEA, Asia, and the Americas, and partner with colleagues across all Swiss Re locations. You will report to the Head of Compliance.
About You
You place teamwork and integrity at the forefront of your work, have strong interpersonal skills, and communicate effectively. The ideal candidate is able to prioritize work, plan ahead, and is detail-oriented, curious, and eager to learn.
Essential:
- University degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Legal, or a related field.
- General understanding of regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with common business tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Fluent in English.
Nice to have:
- Interest in becoming a subject matter expert in compliance-related fields.
- Previous experience working on digital projects
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1,800 and EUR 2,900 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
