About the Role

 

As a Data Analyst in our global Compliance Digital & Analytics team, you will design, implement, and support advanced data analytics solutions that drive Swiss Re’s Compliance strategy. Your expertise will enable critical business insights and assurance tools that ensure risks are well-managed and controls operate effectively.


Working closely with Compliance domain specialists, you will:

  • Understand business challenges and craft tailored analytics solutions.
  • Assess solution feasibility and recommend appropriate analytical approaches.
  • Gather, prepare, model, and evaluate data to present actionable insights.
 

The advanced analytics solutions you develop will enhance control environments, identify risk patterns, and support strategic decision-making across Swiss Re.
 

Key responsibilities:

  • Analytics Development: Build and maintain sophisticated data analytics solutions using advanced platforms and frameworks. 
  • Risk Monitoring: Partner with the Compliance Assurance team to define Continuous Monitoring strategies, creating data-driven analyses and visualizations to address key Compliance risks.
  • Insights Generation: Collaborate with stakeholders to uncover insights related to Compliance risks (e.g., Money Laundering, Bribery, Corruption), enabling informed decisions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with IT and analytics teams to share knowledge and ensure solution alignment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Innovate and refine analytical methods to enhance Compliance capabilities.

About you 


We’re seeking a motivated professional with a curious mindset and a passion for problem-solving. Skilled at communicating complex concepts clearly to non-technical audiences, they work independently with confidence and minimal supervision. Fluent in English, they thrive in dynamic environments and eagerly dive into challenges to deliver innovative solutions.

 
  • Proficiency in Python and/or SQL for data analysis and scripting. 
  • Proven experience in data transformation, preparation, modeling, and visualization techniques.
  • Strong ability to work effectively in diverse teams with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Compliance, Risk Management, or Audit is a plus.
 

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between 2 400 EUR and 4 100 EUR per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
  • the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.

 
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
