About the Role
In this varied and engaging position, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations, handling premium and claims processing while developing valuable skills in international finance and insurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Build global partnerships by working closely with Swiss Re departments worldwide and external clients
- Contribute improvements while working within established processes and guidelines
- Manage portfolios using various reports to deliver tasks with excellent quality and timeliness
- Process financial transactions by verifying data according to insurance contracts and other documents
- Handle correspondence through active daily business communication, investigation, and analysis of accounting information
- Manage payment flows by pairing incoming client payments and processing outgoing payments
About the Team
Join our young international team of approximately 50 members and enjoy our positive workplace environment. We are organized into 4 sub-teams based on the regions we service and our language capabilities, creating a diverse and collaborative atmosphere.
About You
We're looking for detail-oriented individuals with a passion for numbers and an eagerness to work in a global environment. Your positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important as your technical skills.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- Undergraduate pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably with specialization in economics, finance, or accounting)
- Experience in business administration, accounting, finance, or another relevant sector gained during studies
- Proficiency with MS Excel including pivot tables (or strong motivation to learn quickly)
- Fluency in English for daily communication with international partners
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and comfort working with numbers
These are additional nice to haves:
- Knowledge of French, German, Spanish, Italian, or other foreign languages
- Previous experience in an international work environment
- Understanding of insurance or financial services industry
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
