Credit Controller

About the Role

 

We have an amazing opportunity for a highly motivated and analytical person to join our team of Credit Controllers! Our department consists of 40 professionals divided into 3 teams responsible for managing all transactions for the insurance portfolio with main focus on premiums for direct insurance contracts of large risks - receiving, sending and analysing payments from brokers/clients coming from whole EMEA region.

 

You will have a chance to learn more about how a big insurance company works, you will connect with people from various backgrounds, all while we will be enhancing your technical and soft skills.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Regular communication and building partnership with external clients and managing your own portfolio of partners 
  • Taking a proactive role in monitoring of account balances of partners in your portfolio and ensuring timely collection and processing of premium payments
  • Preparing of monthly/quarterly statements and reports of your assigned portfolio
  • Working closely with colleagues from different Swiss Re departments all around the world
  • Data analysis and reporting (MS Excel, Power BI)
  • Handling daily business correspondence, investigation and analysis and interpretation of processed accounting information

 

About You

 

  • Proficiency in English, any other European languages are welcome (French, German, Spanish or Italian)
  • Digital literacy - already proficient with Excel, or motivation to learn it quickly
  • Focus on details, curiosity about numbers
  • Ability to work both independently or collaboratively while prioritizing and multitasking in a constantly evolving international environment
  • Relevant working experience within the field of business administration, accounting, finance or similar is an advantage

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between 1300 EUR and 2200 EUR per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role, 
  • the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.

 

In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits. Eligibility may vary depending on the terms of Swiss Re policies and your employment contract.
