About the Role

 

As a key member of our team, you’ll play an essential role in supporting Swiss Re Asset Management by ensuring smooth operations with our global partners. Your Responsibilities will including:

 

  • Managing custody, market data & external investment manager billing - including cost forecasting, sanity checks, and fee reporting.
  • Maintaining an accurate golden copy list for market data vendors and ensuring all documentation is complete.
  • Supporting the selection of partner banks & market data vendors, taking care of logistics, governance, and helping organize roadshows & presentations.
  • Coordinating the set-up of real estate vendors.
  • Acting as a go-to contact to resolve internal and external queries with confidence.
  • Contributing to projects, initiatives, and ad-hoc tasks, gaining exposure to a broad range of activities in Asset Management.

 

 

About the Team

 

You’ll join a tight-knit, 4-person team based in Zurich and Bratislava, part of Group Asset Management.

 

  • We manage custodian banking relationships and serve as the central contact for Market Data within Asset Management.
  • Our work drives growth in new and existing markets/products, in close collaboration with stakeholders across Swiss Re and externally.
  • We provide senior management and committees with data-driven analysis and due diligence to guide strategic decisions.
  • Tasks are equally distributed, and you’ll work side-by-side with experienced senior team members - a great opportunity for learning and career growth.

 

 

About You

 

We’re looking for someone who is motivated, curious, and eager to make an impact:

 

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance (or equivalent).
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in Financial Services, Securities Services, Custody, Payables or Market Data a plus, but not a must
  • Excellent communicator in English (written & spoken).
  • Strong skills in MS PowerPoint & Excel.
  • Comfortable working in a global team.
  • Independent, hands-on, and tech-savvy - able to deliver under time pressure without compromising quality.
  • Naturally curious, detail-oriented, and open-minded, with a strong team spirit.
  • Enjoys daily interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1900 and EUR 3300 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:​

 

•  the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role, ​

•  the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.​

 

In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.​
