Data Governance Specialist
About the role
In this role, you will be working within the CorSo Data Governance Office responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of our data assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, an understanding of data quality principles, and experience with data profiling, data cleansing, and root cause analysis.
You will work closely with Data Owners, Data Custodians, Data Users, Data Engineers, and other cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality issues, develop data quality metrics, and implement data validation rules & processes to support business initiatives. The role's main objective is to ensure that data is accurate, complete, consistent, and reliable, in line with the organization's Data Governance policies and standards.
Your Responsibilities:

Root Cause Analysis: Analyze data quality issues to identify their root causes. Work closely with data owners, custodians and users to develop solutions to resolve and prevent recurring data quality issues.

Data Quality Metrics and Reporting: Define, measure, and track data quality metrics (e.g., accuracy, completeness, consistency). Create and review data quality reports and dashboards to monitor data health, trends, and improvements. To ensure ongoing compliance with Data Governance policies and standards.

Data Governance Support: Define and implement data quality rules to ensure that data is accurate, complete, consistent, and reliable. Participate in the development and maintenance of Data Governance documents, such as data quality business rules, data dictionary and business glossary.

Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (Data Owners/Delegates and Users) and business representatives.
About you

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Data analysis and investigation abilities with proven experience query authoring (SQL/Python) in relational databases.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with Data Owners, Data Custodians, and other stakeholders to track and resolve data quality issues.

Excellent communication and documentation skills to convey complex data issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 2,300] and [EUR 3,800] per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
