Digital Marketing Manager (Hybrid)

At Swiss Re, we are expanding our EMEA Marketing Services Hub within the Branding and Marketing division and looking for a Digital Marketing Manager, a strategic thinker and hands-on executor who combines data, technology, and storytelling to craft meaningful digital experiences that drive measurable impact across our campaigns.

 

About the Role

 

As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will own the planning and execution of high-performing email marketing campaigns and collaborate with other channel experts on social and paid media activities. You will play a key role in advancing our marketing automation capabilities, optimizing segmentation, and ensuring best-in-class campaign delivery across regions. 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Work closely with business unit (BU) marketing teams and advise on digital marketing channel fit in line with campaign objectives and target audience.
  • Lead the planning, creation, and execution of email campaigns and newsletters, including automation workflows, testing, and optimization.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for email marketing, co-defining strategy, providing internal training, and maintaining high-quality templates and deliverability standards.
  • Manage and execute social organic and paid media activities in collaboration with social media and digital advertising channel experts, video production and graphic design team as well as external agencies.
  • Transform business and brand messages into compelling digital stories, ensuring content resonates with diverse audiences and supports campaign objectives.
  • Monitor performance through analytics dashboards, drive continuous optimization, and share insights and best practices.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends, especially in marketing automation, personalization, and AI applications in digital marketing.
  • Ensure all activities comply with brand, platform, and data privacy standards.

 

About the Team

 

You’ll be part of the EMEA Marketing Services Hub within the Branding and Marketing division. We support business unit (BU) marketing managers across the region and globally in delivering consistent, efficient, and high-performing marketing campaigns. Our team works at the crossroads of marketing strategy, operations, and execution, fostering collaboration and excellence. 

You will report to the EMEA Marketing Services Lead and work alongside experts in web, social media, digital advertising, events, sales enablement, all within a dynamic and inclusive environment.

 

About You

 

You’re a data-driven, detail-oriented digital marketer and a natural storyteller with a passion for scalable, compliant and innovative campaign execution. You thrive on collaboration and bring expertise in email marketing, social media, digital advertising and marketing automation, alongside curiosity for new tools and AI-driven approaches.

 

Essentials

  • University degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in executing B2B marketing campaigns across digital channels, such as email, social media, and digital advertising
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g. Salesforce, MS Dynamics, HubSpot).
  • Proficiency in data privacy, consent-based marketing, and performance tracking
  • Excellent attention to detail, creative approach to message design, and understanding of audience relevance.
  • Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written); other European languages such as German, French, Spanish or Italian are a plus.

 

Nice to Haves

  • Experience building internal email, social media or digital advertising playbooks and conducting trainings.
  • Familiarity with lead management frameworks and tools.
  • Previous experience in a regulated or corporate environment (e.g., financial services, insurance).

 

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between 1,800 EUR and 3,000 EUR per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role, 
  • the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.

 

In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements.
